Since we set up Ride Mendips, we have had some amazing support and donations from individuals, local companies, charity funds and from two amazing Cheddar Extravaganza events. If you can’t get involved directly, but would like to support our efforts, we would really appreciate your help to keep things running.

Our Supporters

 

In February 2021 Hanson offered to donate all the Type 1 & Asphalt required to build Cheddar Pump Track equivalent to ~£40,000 of materials.

In May 2021 the HPC Community Fund awarded £10,000 to Ride Mendips to acquire equipment to run a Places to Ride club at the pump track.

The Mendips Hills Fund awarded us £1,000 in January 2019. We put this money towards trail signs in Rowberrow Warren.

In April 2021 Ride Mendips were awarded £35,000 by the British Cycling Places to Ride Fund towards the construction of a pump track in Cheddar

The Thatchers Foundation awarded us £2,500 in June 2020. This money will be used towards construction of the Cheddar Pump Track.

Petruth Paddocks donated £500 to us in February 2019 and a further £2,500 in March 2021. We put this money towards trail signs in Rowberrow Warren.

Yeo Valley have awarded us one of their charity evenings. We plan to run a fundraising event in 2021. Money from this event will be used towards construction of the Cheddar Pump Track.

The National Grid Community Fund awarded us £20,000 in June 2020. This money will be used towards construction of the Cheddar Pump Track.

The Cheddar Experiment Band arranged two fantastic events that raised £7,000. We used some of this money to have plans prepared for Cheddar Pump Track and for the planning application. The rest is saved towards construction.

Sedgmoor Distrinct Council awarded Ride Mendips £2,500 in February 2019 and a further £2,500 in July 2021 towards the Cheddar Pump Track Project.

The Mendip Rotary Club awarded us £500 in August 2020. This money will be used towards construction of the Cheddar Pump Track.
